3RD ANNUAL DAY OF PRE-PRIMARY SCHOOL
The 3rd Annual Day of St. Xavier’s Pre-Primary Section was celebrated with great enthusiasm on 22nd November 2024 at Auxilium Pathaliaghat. The event was graced by the presence of Mr. Animesh Debbarma, TCS, as the Chief Guest, and Sr. Marcelina Sangma, FMA, as the Guest of Honour. Other distinguished guests included Fr. K.K. Joseph SDB, Fr. Babu Stephen SDB, and Mr. Nandu Debbarma.
The celebration commenced with a grand welcome for the Chief Guest, who was escorted by the school’s Girl’s Brass Band, along with Sr. Rihun Sten, FMA, the headmistress, and other guests. The event began with a solemn prayer dance by the tiny tots, setting a spiritual and joyous tone.
Sr. Rihun Sten, in her welcome address, expressed gratitude to the guests and parents for their presence and support. The event's highlights were vibrant performances by the students, including dances, skits on nature, and an impressive presentation based on the theme, "Look to the Future with Hope." The colorful costumes and enthusiastic performances of the young children delighted the audience, which included hundreds of supportive parents.
The Chief Guest, Mr. Animesh Debbarma, addressed the gathering in English and Kokborok, commending the school for its excellent educational efforts and thanking the parents for their trust. He encouraged families to dedicate more time to their children to foster a stronger family bond and a better society.
Guest of Honour Sr. Marcelina Sangma lauded the teachers and sisters for their dedication and congratulated the students on their outstanding performances. The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Sr. Sweety Nongbri, acknowledging the collective efforts of the teachers, sisters, and parents in making the day a grand success.
The Annual Day reflected the school’s commitment to holistic education and left an enduring impression on all present.
