BIRTHDAY OF BRO. AGUSTIN PARIONG
The community of St. Xavier’s Higher Secondary School, Pathaliaghat, came together on 12th May 2025 to joyfully celebrate the birthday of Bro. Agustin Pariong. The celebration began with the Holy Eucharist held in the school hostel, which set a prayerful and grateful tone for the day. The Mass was presided over by Fr. Babu Stephen and concelebrated by Fr. K.K. Joseph and Fr. K.A. Thomas. The Eucharistic celebration was graced by the presence of the sisters of Auxilium Convent, Pathaliaghat, along with a few boys and girls, making it a warm and meaningful gathering. During the Mass, Fr. Babu expressed heartfelt gratitude to Bro. Agustin for his availability in the hostel and school, for his dedicated service among the young, and for his generosity and hard work. Special prayers were offered for Bro. Agustin and his intentions. Following the Mass, everyone gathered around Bro. Agustin to extend their wishes with joyful birthday songs, gifts, and sweets. The spirit of love and appreciation was palpable, especially as the community came together for a solemn breakfast held in his honour. Bro. Agustin, visibly touched by the gesture, thanked everyone sincerely for their prayers, support, and encouragement. A special highlight of the celebration was a beautiful birthday card crafted by Bro. Bankitlang, which stood out as a unique and heartfelt gift. The celebration was simple, yet filled with joy, gratitude, and community spirit – a true reflection of the love and respect the school community holds for Bro. Agustin.
