St. Xavier's Higher Secondary School Pathaliaghat
A one-day Seminar cum Legal awareness programme on "Sexula Harassment and Exploitation of Women at Work Place" for teachers was held at St. Xavier's Higher Secondary School Pathalighat on 22nd June 2024 in the office of the Principal. It was organized by Sub-Divisional Legal Service Committee Bishalgarh, Sepahijala district, Tripura. Mr. Debasish Chowdhury, Ld Legal Aid Counsel, was the resource person. The programme commenced at 1:00 pm with words of welcome and introduction by Fr. Babu Stephen, the Principal. Mr. Debasish and his team were given a warm welcome in the school by Ms. Moni Jamatia one of the teachers. It was an enriching and informative programme. Teachers gained a lot of knowledge regarding their rights and powers in the society and in their work place. Many doubts and concern were raised by teachers and it was diligently dealt and answered by Mr. Debasish. At the end of the seminar Fr. Babu Stephen thanked the district adminstration for their availablity in organizing this seminar for the school staff.
