St. Xavier's Higher Secondary School Pathaliaghat
A very grand and spectacular Annual School Exhibition was organized at St. Xavier’s Higher Secondary School Pathaliaghat on Friday the 26th of July 2024. Thousands of parents/guardians, students from other invited school thronged to witness this grand exhibition in the school. This event was a culmination of of hard work and dedication highlighting our commitment to providing holistic education for our students. Mr. Nabin Jamatia, the SI of Bishramganj Police Station was the Chief Guest of the day. Other dignitaries and VIP’s who graced the event were Mr. Baithang Debbarma, Senior Manager of Electricity Department, Mr. Vincent Debbarma, the Forest Officer of TTAADC, Mr. Nandu Debbarma, the Chairman of Village Council Pathaliahgat and Mr. Anthony Debbarma, from the Education Department, Bishramganj. The presence of many religious personnels like Fr. Isaac SDB from Herma, Fr. Suman Kumar Kiro SDB Principal of Don Bosco School Herma, Sr. Tessy Joseph MSMHC, Principal of Don Bosco School Udaipur, Sr. Marina Thomas MSMHC, Sr. Shimtilin MSMHC, Bro. Arkidon SDB, Sr. Rihun Sten FMA, and Sr. Jomita Sangma FMA made the event colourful and encouraging for our students and staff.
Fr. Babu Stephen SDB, principal of the school accorded a warm welcome to all the guests and parents. Fr. K.K. Joseph SDB, the Rector of the school alos addressd the gathering and wished everyone best of luck for the day. Mr. Nabin Jamatia, the chief Guest in his address to all, congratulated and appreciated the school, staff and students for the hard work and dedication in making this event a reality for the people. All the other VIP’s and guests also addressed the gathering and thanked the school organizing such mega event of this calibre and appreciated the efforts made by the staff and students of the school. This annual mega event showcased the incredible scientific projects and experiments created by our talented students. Our students have worked diligently to explore various scientific concepts and innovations and they were excited to share their knowledge and discoveries with their parents, friends and students from other schools. This annual exhibition was very grand and unique because it had displayed different concepts, models, projects which are very creative, informative, colourful, self made and innovative on various topics from text books and from general topics.
The beauty and significance of the show was that the students from class Nursery to XII took part actively and prepared all the models and projects in just 10 days time in the school itself during zero hour under the supervision and guidance of their class teachers and subject teachers. All models were hand made items which show creativity and innovations of young children. The audience and students were extremely happy about the entire event and appreciated the school management for organizing such a grand exhibition in the school. The entire event got media coverage from different local TV channels and you-tubers. The school thanks everyone for their support and encouragement in all our endeavors. Special word of thanks to all the staff and students of the school for their hard work and dedication.
