St. Xavier’s Higher Secondary School Pathaliaghat proudly claimed the title of CHAMPION in the Ranendra Sangma Memorial Inter-school Football Tournament by defeating St. James School in the thrilling finale held on 8th October 2024 in the Premises of St. Paul’s Higher Secondary School, Agartala. Our school team demonstrated exceptional skill, teamwork, and determination to secure the top spot.
Ranendra Sangma Memorial Inter-school knock-out Football Tournament was organized by St. Paul’s School Agartala from 27th September to 8th October 2024 in the school premises. 11 schools participated in the tournament. The matches were played on a knock-out basis. In the first match, our school defeated Delhi World Public School (7-0) and secured a place in the semi final and later in the semifinal we defeated the host school (St. Paul’s School) by 1-0 and entered into final.
Shri. Animesh Debbarma, the honourable Minister for Tribal Welfare, Govt. of Tripura was the Chief Guest for the finale. At the end of the match, the minister gave away the Champion’s Trophy to St. Xavier’s School Team and Ms. Manjuri Sangma, the Principal of the school gave away the Runner’s up trophy to St. James School.
The school is extremely proud its team’s achievement. Their hard work, discipline, and unity led to this success. This championship showcases our students’ potential and dedication. We congratulate the team and coaches on their outstanding performance and thank our parents and staff for their unwavering support.
The awards consisted of Champions Trophy, Certificate and a cash prize of Rs. 15000/- Congratulations to St. Xavier’s School on this impressive achievement.
