EK PED MAA KE NAAM 2.0 CAMPAIGN 2025

St. Xavier’s Higher Secondary School, Pathaliaghat, enthusiastically participated in the National Tree Plantation Campaign – “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam 2.0”, a movement aimed at promoting environmental consciousness and honoring the nurturing spirit of motherhood. The campaign encouraged students across the country to plant a tree along with their mothers, thereby combining ecological responsibility with emotional bonding. In line with the campaign objectives, over 300 students from St. Xavier’s School took part in this green initiative. Each student was encouraged to plant at least one sapling either within the school campus, along the roadsides, or in any other suitable location, accompanied by their mother or a female guardian. This act of planting not only symbolized care for the environment but also paid tribute to the life-giving spirit of mothers. Under the guidance and motivation of the school Eco-Club and teachers, students not only planted trees but also took photographs of the activity and uploaded them on the official portal of Eco-Clubs, as per the directives of the campaign. Upon successful completion and upload, students were issued E-certificates, recognizing their contribution to this noble cause. The initiative witnessed active involvement, enthusiasm, and environmental awareness among students and parents alike. It was heartening to see families coming together for a common green cause, reaffirming the values of sustainability, responsibility, and love for Mother Earth. St. Xavier’s School is proud to be a part of this national movement and remains committed to fostering environmental stewardship among its students.
