St. Xavier's Higher Secondary School Pathaliaghat
On 2nd August 2025, A Quiz and Essay writing competition was conducted in the school to encourage academic excellence and critical thinking among students by Tata Building India( school essay competition). The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across various grade. The open quiz competition was conducted based on the video clip shown on the screen. The video shows the Life of Jamsetji Nusserwanji Tata. The best five students recieved a comic book as reward for their active participation. After which the essay competition begins that aimed to foster creativity, expression, and analytical thinking. The participants were asked to write essay on topic "Few things to build self reliant India". The total number of 214 students turn out for the competition. The duration of 1 hr was given for the competition. The event was a great success, showcasing the intellectual potential and competitive spirit of the participants. It provided a platform for students to express their ideas and test their knowledge in a healthy academic environment. The winners will be rewarded and qualify to compete to the City and National level competition and they will get the chance to meet the prime minister of India. Special thanks to the organizing committee, faculty, coordinators, and student volunteers for their efforts in making the event a success.
