A grand felicitation programme of Janajati Samajpati was held on 10th September 2025 at the Sona Tari State Guest House. The event was graced by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Tripura, Shri Prof. Manik Saha, along with the presence of eminent tribal leaders of the state and several distinguished guests. The school band team, comprising 40 boys and girls, added colour and gaiety to the programme with their excellent performance. Under the guidance and accompaniment of Ms. Riya Debbarma and Ms. Khum Kiyok Jamatia, the band members displayed an exceptional calibre of talent that won the admiration of all present. The band team played a vital role in the ceremonial welcome, extending a warm and melodious reception to the Chief Minister, the leaders of various tribes of Tripura, and other VIP dignitaries at the entrance of the auditorium. Their rhythmic performance not only heightened the festive spirit but also showcased the discipline, skill, and unity of the students. The programme was specially organized to felicitate and greet the tribal leaders of the state in anticipation of the forthcoming Puja celebrations. The enthusiastic participation of the band team added charm and liveliness, making the event truly memorable. At the conclusion of the programme, the students were treated to a sumptuous lunch, which was a token of appreciation for their valuable contribution. The felicitation ceremony, marked by cultural warmth and festive cheer, reflected the unity and respect for the diverse tribal communities of Tripura.
