St. Xavier's Higher Secondary School Pathaliaghat
A three-day Teachers’ Training Programme was organized by Asha Foundation, Bangalore at Holy Cross School, Agartala, from 15th to 17th January 2026. The programme was thoughtfully coordinated by Fr. George Jacob CSC, Secretary of the Holy Cross Education Foundation, Agartala. Teachers from various Catholic schools in and around Agartala participated in this enriching programme. From St. Xavier’s Higher Secondary School, Pathaliaghat, three teachers—Ms. Martha, Ms. Sarojini, and Ms. Tulsi—actively took part in the training. The programme aimed at enhancing professional competence and equipping teachers with modern teaching tools and strategies for effective classroom management and student engagement. The training sessions were highly informative, engaging, and thought-provoking. Various topics such as innovative teaching methodologies, effective assessment techniques, classroom strategies, and professional growth were covered through interactive sessions, group discussions, and hands-on activities. These sessions provided participants with new perspectives and practical skills essential for growth as educators. The beautifully arranged venue and a well-planned timetable ensured the smooth conduct of the programme. The interactive nature of the sessions encouraged active participation, sharing of ideas, and collaborative learning among teachers, which greatly enriched the overall experience. The programme significantly helped the participating teachers to broaden their understanding, strengthen their confidence, and enhance their professional skills. It proved to be a valuable learning experience that will positively reflect in their teaching practices.
