The Investiture Ceremony of the Captains and Vice-Captains of St. Xavier’s Higher Secondary School was held in the school hall on 6th May 2026 at 9:00 a.m. The ceremony marked the formal appointment of student leaders for the academic year 2026-27. The event was initiated by Fr. Babu, who welcomed the assembly and invited all the school captains and vice-captains to the stage. He explained the significant roles and responsibilities entrusted to them as leaders of the school and their peers. Fr. Principal further elaborated on the duties of the school and class leaders, expressing gratitude to the students and staff for electing them to these important positions. Sr. Monica led the assembly in a prayer, adding a meaningful and reflective touch to the occasion. The badge-pinning ceremony followed, with Fr. Babu presenting badges to the school captains and vice-captains, and subsequently to all commission secretaries. Class teachers and other invited teachers then pinned badges to the respective class captains and vice-captains. The ceremony also included the oath-taking of all leaders, conducted by Fr. Babu, signifying their commitment to serve the school with dedication and integrity. As a symbolic gesture of responsibility and authority, Fr. Babu handed over the school flag to the school captains. The Investiture Ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Bro. Savio, bringing the event to a close on a note of pride, motivation, and enthusiasm for the year ahead.
