Pathaliaghat, 17 July 2026: St. Xavier's Higher Secondary School and Hostel, Pathaliaghat, joyfully welcomed Br. Lazarus Xalxo, the newly appointed Assistant and Teacher, during the morning assembly held on 17 July 2026. The programme reflected the school's spirit of hospitality and fraternity as students, teachers, and hostel staff gathered to receive the new member of the Salesian family with warmth and enthusiasm. The welcome ceremony commenced with an introduction of Br. Lazarus by the Principal, Rev. Fr. Babu Stephen, who officially presented him to the entire school community. In his address, Fr. Babu expressed his happiness at Br. Lazarus joining St. Xavier's and wished him a fruitful and fulfilling ministry in the institution. As a gesture of love and respect, Br. Lazarus was felicitated with a beautiful bouquet of flowers, a traditional school Uttarya, and a Tripuri Risa, which was ceremonially presented by the students and teachers. The meaningful presentation symbolized the school's appreciation of the rich cultural heritage of Tripura while extending a heartfelt welcome to its new educator. Addressing the gathering, Br. Lazarus Xalxo thanked the principal, staff, students, and hostel community for the warm and affectionate reception accorded to him. He expressed his happiness at becoming a part of the St. Xavier's family and shared his eagerness to work alongside the staff in nurturing the academic, moral, and spiritual growth of the students. Assuring every one of his wholehearted commitment, he promised to dedicate his talents and efforts for the welfare of the students and the overall development of the school.
