MODELLING COMPETITION - MR. AND MISS PATHALIAGHAT 2026

St. Xavier’s School, Pathaliaghat witnessed a spectacular and colourful event on 8 August 2026 with the first-ever Ramp Walking: Mr. and Miss Pathaliaghat Modelling Competition. The event was organised with great enthusiasm and excitement, providing a unique platform for students to showcase their confidence, creativity, personality and sense of style. A total of 30 participants from Classes VII to XII took part in the competition. The event was efficiently coordinated by Mr. Chiranjit, Ms. Tulsi, Ms. Gayatri and Mr. Clement, whose dedicated efforts contributed greatly to the success of the programme. The participants appeared on the ramp in a wide variety of colours, costumes, styles and creative dress designs, transforming the entire venue into a vibrant display of fashion and creativity. The specially prepared ramp attached to the stage added beauty, elegance and grandeur to the programme. As the participants confidently walked the ramp, the audience was enthralled by their graceful presentation, innovative costumes and impressive styles. The variety and creativity displayed by the participants kept everyone spellbound and brought immense joy and excitement to the gathering. The event was truly a feast for the eyes and became a memorable experience for the entire school community. Fr. Babu Stephen addressed the gathering before and after the programme. He appreciated the participants for their confidence, enthusiasm and wholehearted participation and expressed his gratitude to the coordinators, judges, teachers and everyone who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make the event a grand success. He also encouraged the students to make use of such opportunities to develop their talents, confidence and personality. The competition was judged by Ms. Gayatri, Ms. Namita and Mr. Sudarshan, who carefully evaluated the participants on various aspects of their presentation, confidence, style, creativity and overall performance. The much-awaited programme concluded with the announcement of the winners and runners-up. Dreamy Debbarma emerged as Miss Pathaliaghat 2026. She was crowned by Fr. Babu Stephen and received the crown, trophy, bouquet of flowers and cash award. Salomi Jamatia was declared the Runner-up in the girls’ category and was also presented with a crown and cash award. In the boys’ category, Johnson was crowned Mr. Pathaliaghat 2026, while Solomon secured the Runner-up position. They too received their respective trophies, crowns, bouquets and cash awards from Fr. Babu Stephen. The Ramp Walking: Mr. and Miss Pathaliaghat Modelling Competition 2026 was a grand celebration of talent, creativity, confidence and youthful enthusiasm. Being the first event of its kind at St. Xavier’s School, it marked a memorable milestone in the school’s co-curricular activities. The colourful costumes, confident performances and enthusiastic response of the audience made the programme a resounding success and an event to be cherished by all.
